In honour of Manitoba 150, IPAC Manitoba asked Professor Paul Thomas, the dean of Public Administration in Manitoba, to prepare remarks on 150 years of the Manitoba public service. These remarks were originally meant for our AGM, but COVID intervened.
However, on July 15, it will be 150 years since the Manitoba Act came into force, creating the Manitoba Government. And so we are now fortunate to be able to share Dr. Thomas’ essay with you.
